About the Accredited Training Program
Provides the required training for Chief Fire Wardens and Fire Wardens for employers operating in Commerical buildings, with their own unique fire code requirements to implement the fire safety plan in their area of control.
Accredited by the Institution of Fire Engineers Canada Branch to meet the requirements of Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code.
This 2.5 Hour Certificate program was developed and is delivered by a team of recognized NFPA Fire & Life Safety Public Educators, with extensive experience in technical program delivery & fire safety education.
The program involves in-person and or virtual learning opportunities.
Program Topics
This interactive 2.5 Hour training program provides the training required for you to fully implement your Commercial / Office building’s approved fire safety plan - within your tenant space, to ensure both fire code compliance and compliance with the applicable sections of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Program Requirements
Participants must attend with a current copy of their building’s fire safety plan, approved by the local fire services within the last 5 years.
