BGO Team achieves Fire Safety Plan Certification

Congratulations to the entire BGO team !

Managing a commercial Office building in Ontario demands that all building staff be trained on their roles and responsibilities under the building’s approved fire safety plan.

This week National Life Safety Group’s team of Fire & Life Safety Educators had the priveledge of working with their building Security and Operations teams, to ensure they were set up for success, and had the foundational knowledge and skillset, to effectively implement the fire safety plan at their high-rise building.

Building management, now has confidence and evidence of their commitment to higher learning and meeting the Ontario Fire Code’s requirements for staff training.

After the training, particpants had to acheive 75 percent on the exam to acheive the certification, and were super excited on their acheivement!

“Fire Safety Plans are much more than a code compliance document in Ontario - it’s the training sylubus for your entire team at the building” says Jason Reid, Senior Advisor for Fire & Emergency Management, who specializes in high-rise buildings.
