This 6.5 hour (Full Day) certificate program was developed by, and is delivered by a team of NFPA Fire and Life Safety Public Educators, and Certified Protection Professionals (CPP), considered the "gold standard" for security management professionals in Canada.
Accredited by the Institution of Fire Engineers Canada Branch to meet the requirements of Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code, Meets National Fire Code Requirements.

Participants must achieve 75% on the exam to obtain certification. Upon successful completion, a certificate bearing the official IFE Canada seal will be issued.
CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: TECHNICAL OPERATIONS OF LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS
Designed for front-line security teams who manage the operations of building life safety systems.
This unique, 2 hour certificate program is held on site, is site specific, providing security personnel with a hands on, reality based understanding of life safety systems, their operation in the workplace, fire alarm system use / reset, manual pull stations activation / reset, emergency voice communications systems use and troubleshooting, sprinkler operations, inspections and more.
Designed and delivered by recognized NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Educators with extensive operational hands-on experience.
